As part of its continued support to Lebanese entrepreneurs, and in light of the ongoing pandemic, the Touch Innovation Program is reaching out to TIP startups in their lockdown and offering them a chance to attend a series of valuable sessions in partnership with technology giant Oracle.

Delivered by Oracle experts, they include tailored informative sessions as well as workshops on a wide range of topics, including design, product strategy and management, and sales among many others. Attending startups also had a chance to join Oracle for Startups, an initiative that is “blending startup ingenuity with enterprise resources to deliver transformative solutions to customers”, with benefits including discounted cloud services and access to oracle partners.

So far, the sessions have covered:

  • Oracle For Startups Program
  • Why Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a Good Fit for Your Startup?
  • Product Management and Strategy Development for ICT Startups
  • Design Thinking

The program comprises a mix of practical as well as strategic sessions. For instance, Thierry Khoury, Oracle Senior Cloud Solution Consultant, exposed startups to a set of complementary cloud services that they could use to build and run a wide range of applications and services that leverage the latest innovations in technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Big Data and Analytics.

Design Thinking, on the other hand, which was delivered by the Innovation Director at Oracle Jakub Polec, focused on principles and models of supporting ideas, overcoming big challenges, as well as delivering customer journey maps and finding gaps and true needs.

Taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, the partnership with Oracle was envisioned with the goal of equipping TIP startups with new tools and techniques that would ensure their continued success, challenging economic downturns, global pandemics and lockdowns, and anything that might come their way.
